Sunday Drive Over the Mountain

We love going on Sunday drives. We took Avery and Gavin on a nature drive over the mountain. Bronson had to stay home and clean his room! We asked him to clean it several times all week and when we went in there we found things stuffed under his bed and in his closet so we had to give him a consequence. He missed out on the fun Sunday drive. Bummer!

Anyway, we got out several places so they could walk around and explore. We found lots of neat treasures along the way. I love feeling the cool mountain breeze and the smells and sights of our mountain. We saw lots of deer. My favorite part though is getting to talk to Mr. Handsome the whole way!

The kids had fun riding in the back of the truck. They had blankets, pillows, snacks and drinks. Gavin fell fast asleep back there on the way home so it must have been comfortable!

Mr. Handsome searching for big elk. Instead he found a guy looking at me with his binoculars so he stared him down til the guy realized he was caught and he hurried and hopped in his truck and drove off. Hahaha! We had a good laugh about that!
