We had another fun year for the Pioneer Day celebration here in our hometown. Gavin was in the parade on my Dad's float, Avery was in the parade on her decorated motor scooter with the tumbling team. We went to the park after that and watched Avery perform freestyle tumbling on a stage at the park. We enjoyed son cones, some delicious food and good company. That evening we had a Butler family reunion. It was good to see several of my cousins and their growing families, also aunts and uncles. Later that night we watched some ball games at the tournament and watched fireworks at our traditional spot at Grandma LaVern's house. It was a great weekend and fun to see everyone we don't get to see too often. Happy Pioneer Day!
