Halloween Dinner Recipes

I've had several people asking me for a good chili recipe or a good cornbread recipe, so I am including one of each! Enjoy...

Chili:

1 can of each of the following:
dark red kidney beans
pinto beans
chili beans
black beans
diced tomatoes
Combine all in a crockpot. Add:

1 package Ranch dressing mix
1/2 package taco seasoning
2 c shredded chicken breast (cooked)
Stir until combined.

Slow cook for 4-6 hours on high.

It's so easy but so good!

And for the cornbread:
In-a-Jiffy Cornbread

In a large mixing bowl, combine:
2 boxes Jiffy cornbread mix
1 box Jiffy White cake mix
1 1/2 cups milk
3 eggs

Pour into greased 9 x 13 pan.

Follow the baking directions on the CORNBREAD box for baking time and temp.
Once again, so easy yet so yummy!

And here's a recipe for the putrid punch. It really is so tasty but it looks well, putrid!
Fill 2 ice cube trays with water, then place a gummy worm halfway in each cube. Freeze overnight

1 can orange juice concentrate
1 cup sugar
8 cups water
1 packet of lemon-lime kool-aid mix
4 cups chilled ginger ale
6 scoops of orange sherbet

Combine all of the ingredients. Then add the ice cubes. Before long you'll have a worm infested putrid looking DELICIOUS drink!

Good luck everyone and have a fantabulous Halloween.

Shannon - you are awesome! we host a "Halloween Mystery Dinner" every year and you just gave me half my menu! I'm excited to try putrid punch. We normally make "Toilet Bowl Slushy Flushy" (yellow lemonade with big chocolate chips frozen in lemonade ice cubes. They float in the drink giving it a poop appearance.Any other menu ideas for me?
