I headed up a craft fair for the whole community to raise money to plant trees at a park here in town dedicated to cancer victims from this area. It was a lot of work, but a lot of fun too. I was really impressed with all the support from people here in our community. I had several vendors, a live entertainment corner, a baked goods table, free popcorn and door prizes and a coloring table for kids. All the rotary members were a tremendous help. We raised $900!! I will do this again next year. It feels so good to serve and help others and to see others catch that spirit too.
