Mr. Handsome and I needed a getaway together so we loaded our camper and headed to Telluride. We camped in a beautiful spot called Sunshine Campground. It was so quiet and peaceful. We loved it! We made our own breakfast and packed lunches for our adventures each day and then went out to eat for dinner. One day we took the jeep over Alta Lakes Trail and Ophir Pass. Both were gorgeous. The next day we went over Imogene Pass. Quite an adventure!! We both loved the time we could spend together alone. We also both can't say we have ever seen any views quite as spectacular. The pictures don't do it any kind of justice. The mountains are really spectacular. This was a trip we will remember!

We stopped in a town called Rico and had Mexican.

We ate at Rustico Restaurante. So delicious! These are our desserts. I tried a sampling of meats; elk, quail and steak, with Polenta and vegetables. Brad had a sausage and pasta with marinara dish. It was all really good.
Telluride is a lot of fun to walk around. The shopping is super expensive so we didn't buy anything but some food, chocolate and icecream!

This soda was so good. It's Gus brand(grown up soda) in cranberry lime. Yum!
